Ash Wednesday Service

The Wesley held its Ash Wednesday service last night and continued the tradition that started just last year of shaking up the regular service routine and doing an interactive, sensory worship experience instead. The leadership team at the Wesley organized a Peter’s Walk for Wesley members to experience. Members are blindfolded, having to put their trust in one of their peers to lead them on this journey of the senses. Along the way they will feel what it was like to walk in Peter’s footsteps, eating the bread that Jesus multiplied to feed five thousand in Matthew 14, having their feet washed by Him, walking across water hand-in-hand with Him, and feeling the loss when He was crucified.

Contact the Wesley or stop by now to get involved and experience our regular worship services, and to join us next year our Ash Wednesday service to experience this meaningful way to know the life of Jesus and his disciples more.
